On Sunday 17th of June, Toyota won the 86th edition of Les 24 Heures du Mans.
JTEKT, sponsor of the Toyota team congratulates the Toyota Gazoo Racing Team and is honoured to associate its name to this outstanding victory. On board of the hybrid Toyota TS050 (2018 version), team mates, Buemi, Nakajima and Alonso registered the first ever victory of the Japanese brand in the LMP1 (Le Mans Prototypes Hybrid) category.
Already world champion in 2014, Toyota has tried since almost 30 years to write its name to the world's most famous and very competitive race.
Toyota team never gave up to win this race despite some very cruel disillusion like in 2016, when, leading the race, the Toyota car stopped on the track in the last lap of the competition leaving the victory to Porsche 919 hybrid. Now Toyota wrote what is probably the best page of its automobile racing history.
Belagro is an international exhibition focused on the agriculture industry for machinery, equipment and technologies for production, processing, transportation and storage of agricultural products and solutions. The exhibition took place on the 5th until the 10th of June in Minsk, Belarus.
Koyo Distributor Belsnabpodshipnik participated to this fair and offered Koyo the opportunity to join forces in order to promote the Koyo bearings range and show our technologies and capabilities within this area.
The booth was very well visited by representatives who are active in the agricultural industry from CIS - and central Asian countries. We also had the chance to meet with members of the Belarussian ministry of Agriculture. They showed a lot of interest in Koyo bearings and Toyoda Machineworks also a brand of JTEKT Corporation.
Last but not least JTEKT/Koyo was honored to receive a certificate of appreciation from Belsnabpodshipnik for the great business relationship between both companies. We would like to thank Belsnabpodshipnik for their support and trust in our company and products.

Our three days schedule not only included a business meeting but also a very special cultural program from where we could visit Seville and have a great Toro Experience in Huelva. The event was a great chance to show our customers how important they are for us and of course stay up to date about developments at the European bearing market. Automechanika is the world’s leading trade fair for the automotive industry. This exhibition is a very important event for the Automotive OEM and Aftermarket industry. It took place on 5-8 April 2018 in Istanbul, Turkey. The Automechanika Istanbul closed with a record number of 1.352 exhibitors from 38 countries and 45.979 visitors from around the world. All professionals from the Automotive Manufacturing, Distribution and Repair sectors in the region were present at Eurasia’s number one event full of innovation and knowledge sharing.
Rulman Ticaret-Koyo’s distributor in Turkey has participated in this important event and offered Koyo the opportunity to join forces and to promote our Koyo bearings brand at their booth. Visitors from all over the world visited the booth and a lot of very interesting meetings with Rulman Ticaret’s and their potential- and existing customers took place during this event. The fair was a good opportunity to promote and show Koyo’s product capabilities and technology.
Since 2010 the business relationship between Koyo and Rulman Ticaret has been intensified. Rulma Ticaret is using mainly Koyo products as a premium brand to serve the Turkish market. The target is to increase the "Turkish market focused inventory" in order to cover every demand in a very short lead time.
